As I went through folders...

Filled with pictures of the places I have been ...
I became so lonely.
I missed home.
I miss the beach, I miss the desert, I miss sleeping in my car.
I crawled my way through hell to live in Venice ..
I napped on the sidewalk, I worked my butt off, I said 'it wasn't worth it."
I didn't mean it.
Summer was lovely.
I was so independent, and free.
I danced with gypsies, I slept on the beach ..
I did things I had wanted to do my entire life.
WHAT am I doing here?
What am I supposed to be doing?
What happened to Mikki?

I'm back in San Francisco ..

Seattle only lasted a couple of months ..
As lovely as it was: I shouldn't have ever gone there for a heart ..
because it ended up breaking.
I want to start taking pictures again.
I didn't take nearly enough on my travels.
It's a bummer..
I will make it back up there again, someday.
I just have to start taking advantage of the places I go through ..
the people I meet ...
and the things that I see, once again.
